my custom ringtones don't play anymore

My custom ringtones don't play.

When my phone rings, it is always the default tone.

I've checked each contact...the custom ringtone is listed.

I've restarted, checked ring volumes etc. No benefit.

I have a SE.

11.2.6.

New Apple ring tone not showing up in downloaded ringtones I downloaded a new ringtone on the Apple ringtone app. when I attempt to go into a contact and set their ringtone that I just purchased, it is nowhere to be found and downloaded. When I select a particular ringtone it reverts to a different one and not the one I selected . I select a ringtone and when I get a call a different tone appears
