Command-Shift-M Quits/crashes iMovie

Is there a fix to the bug that causes command-shift-M to quit or crash iMovie?

I am so used to using it, it's hard to catch myself from using it, then I have to wait for iMovie to open. I see the question has been asked before but no fixes?
