I deleted an email pop account in macbook pro to set up an imap account and lost saved emails. Anyway to get them back?

macbook pro 15" mid 2010

I deleted an email pop account in my MacBook when setting up an imap email account and lost saved and flagged emails over a 5 week time frame. I still have the pop account on my iPhone but don't have the important flagged emails saved there. Is there anyway to get the flagged emails back from somewhere in the MacBook trash?

kKnda what I was hoping someone wouldn't say but after much research on the topic feared that answer might be what I would get. As much as I didn't want to hear it, appreciate the response. Fortunately, life will go on and another cyber lesson learned.

Sorry, but no. Everything is deleted immediately. Only your provider would have a copy depending on when they back up. All you can do is call and ask.
