Go To Assist

Please tell me how to remove the Go To Assist program from my MacBook Pro. I am also concerned about damage that might have been done with this program. I was almost taken in by Scammers two days ago, and I did NOT give them any credit card information, but I want to remove the program. Any input about this would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, iOS 11.2.6

Problem solved, hopefully. Opened Finder and dragged the icon from there to Trash and emptied trash. The little bugger went willingly from there. Earlier, he would not budge when I accessed him repeatedly from Launchpad.
