iMessage- people are not able to send an iMessage to my phone number. Only email. Please help

Is your number set and ready to use?

And do they have iMessage?

iMessage issues can often be resolved by signing out of iMessage entirely (and maybe a soft reset or power cycle), then before signing back into iMessage send a text to someone (preferably a non-iPhone user). After doing that, sign back into iMessage.

Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if your phone number is checked.

Who's your provider? Since you're in Ontario.

Does it have a checkmark next to it? Can people send SMS (green bubble) text messages to you?

It should be gray. You might want to try turning iMessage off and back on.

I'm not really into guessing games. What else have you tried?

Did you try what Rocky suggested? Does everyone have this problem?

You should remove your picture, or modify it to block out your phone number and email address (unless you're short on friends ;-)
