Ask to buy notification missed

I'm new to family sharing, and like many, have found the 'Ask to Buy' process annoying.

I have figured out that on my Mac, I can go into the preferences for the Notification Centre, and change from a Banner to an Alert. The alert stays on screen until it is attended to, avoiding the issue of the vanishing notification. Not yet sure if i can do the same on the phone....
