I have a Mini A1347

I have a Mac Mini (1.4GHz) and set a pw that I can no longer remember.

It looks like I need to do an Internet restore to be able to use it again.

I've just been using it for surfing and the photos stored are also held on a backup disk so I don't mind if it gets wiped.

However...

when I start it up and tell it to do an Internet Restore it ignores my ethernet cable and insists on connecting via wifi.

I give it the wifi credentials and it seems happy for a while and it displays the rotating global for a couple of mins before giving me a -2002F error.

What does this mean and how can I get it to use the Ethernet instead of wifi and can you offer any other advice ?

Thanks

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)
