Music apps will not play in car via USB

Music apps will not play in car via USB after updating to iOS 11.2.6 on my iPhone 6s. Is this a known issue? I have tried Apple Music, Pandora, and Amazon Music. I’ve rebooted the phone, reinstalled apps, and tried the wife’s iPhone 6s with the same result.
