I have the latest macbook pro and I just wanted to know why some macbooks have a « discolored » spot next to the hinges ? I looked at some computers at the store and they had it as well. Is it normal ? For me it is located on the right side. Left side is flawless but the right one has it.
We are all other users here, so I agree: you need to take it to an Apple store. And, if you bought it from Apple, you have 14 days to return it, no questions asked. So, if it bothers you, do return it and order another (if desired).

I do not see what you are questioning in the jpegs you posted. It would be best for your to take the computer to the Apple Store, and ask them.
I tried to show with the arrow the small spot that has a « silver » color instead of gray.
You're complaining about a teeny-tiny corner that isn't silver enough? You'll have far more user caused marks on your new Mac than that in less than a week.
