I have an I pad mini I have lost my in box and out box

My Ipad mini has lost the in box and out box from the side bar, I sent two emails that said they edre in the out box but the out box has dissapeard so don,t know if the emails have been sent also today the in box has also gone

Hello Jillere 18,

In Mail app, at the top of the list click Edit. There you can see which have a check in it making them visible.
