Touch id popup appeared on lock screen!

My iphone was locked and I got the touch id popup on my screen asking for fingerprint. It said ’unlock your journal’. Could be something to do with a journal app called Day One.

My question is, can such a popup appear on the lock screen? My phone is on iOS 11.2.6.
