I can't see my 1300D photos on my apple MacBook Pro. I am using a cable. How can I find them?

I can not see my 1300D photos on my MacBook Pro, I am using a cable through the thunderbolt adapter. Where do I have to go to see them or what do I have to do to see them?

Try the Image Capture app in your Applications folder, or take the card out of the camera and put it in a card reader.
