How can I turn off the battery low notifications?

The red battery symbol is good enough for me to to notice when I have to look for a charger.

There are way to many modal dialogs poping up, and this one is just an annoyance.

As I read in other threads, it was not possible to turn this off in iOS7 and iOS10.

What is the status today (2018)? Is there a way to turn off the warnings? At least the 20% and 10% warnings?
