Calibrating a replacment battery for a 13" 2012 MB Pro

I live in Chile and I needed to replace my 13" Mid-2012 MacBook Pro battery. Shipping it back to the U.S. was out of the question and most U.S. based suppliers will not ship a battery here. I did find a replacement battery here in Chile but it is not an SMP brand battery. However, I did not receive instructions on how to calibrate it and I assume that it will need to be done. What would be the best method to calibrate it? Thanks in advance.

If your portable Mac has a built-in battery, you don’t need to calibrate the battery.

It is a replacement battery but it is not the same brand that Apple uses which is the SMP brand. Thus, I believe it does need calibrating but I did not receive any paperwork on what method to use.
