Nike+

I have the new Apple Watch Nike+ and am struggling with this device in that I find that it doesn't record the data correctly when running indoors on a treadmill. The mileage and the pace is totally incorrect when using this App. Is this a normal occurrence? I highly doubt that this should be normal. Thanks for your help.
