Help ... iPhone X reception issues!

I got t my iPhone X around November time, I’ve always had problems with it when using WiFi (I have to switch WiFi on & off to be able to use it)... I was hoping an update would be released to fix it but this hasn’t happened. In the last few weeks it’s got worse, calls drop, emails are not updating, safari search just hangs! I have to switch my phone off & on to update emails & to search etc. My WiFi isn’t the problem as I don’t have a problem with my iPad ... (also struggling to post this)

iPhone X - Poor Reception I searched for this topic & found a lot of stuff, however was unable to add my comments/questions. My X essentially does not work often times while my 4 year old iPad works just fine at the same place/same time. I have reset the network settings moments ago --- Any other comments/suggestions?
