Mail app have problems with “side menu”(copy/paste etc.)

I have problems using the side menu for “copy/paste” in replying to an email with the iOS 11 native mails app, when I try to press the screeb for the menu to pop-up, it flicks for a second and then disappears.

2 solutions that I found but are no help for me is to change the phone language for Hebrew to English and to restore the phone to factory settings, and the problem was solved, but when I restore to the last backup with all the info, the problem returns. I’ve deleted a lot of junk apps to see if there’s a clash, but it did nothing

Since the issue is resolved when you restore the device to factory settings, but then returns when you restore your backup, this lets us know that the issue is saved in your backup. I recommend restoring the device to factory settings again. Ensure your backup is up to date before doing this step because it will erase everything on the device. Then, ensure you set the device up as new, and do not restore any information from an iCloud or iTunes backup yet. You can manually bring data back using iCloud or iTunes, but do not restore from the backup as you will bring the problem right back in again.


Once you log back in to iCloud with the same Apple ID that you used previously, all your data saved in iCloud will start repopulating on the device. Depending on whether you have a Mac or PC, you can use one of these two help articles to assist you in getting your music and other data back to your device from iTunes:


1. iTunes for Mac: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad


2. iTunes for Windows: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad
