iMac Internal Superdrive late 2009 not working in all modes.

My DVD's and CD's are not seen by the internal superdrive.

iMac, iOS 10.3.3, DVD &CD's don't work any more.

USB SuperDrive I have a 2020 MacBook Air. My USB SuperDrive won't accept DVDs or CDs. I can put them in manually all the way and they are not grabbed. I have to plug it into an adapter and then get a notice that the SuperDrive needs power, but it is plugged in.

Mojave vs. SuperDrive Mojave partially broke my SuperDrive. Just burned a CD this morning on my macBook, upgraded to Mojave this afternoon, and now blank CDs will not appear and cannot be easily ejected, either. Same is true on my desktop iMac, I now realize.
