My iPad screen went black and I can’t get it started even though it’s charged

iPad went black and won’t cone on even though it’s charged. I tried holding down button but no help. What can I do?

If I understand your post correctly, the screen of your iPad is black and it seems to be charged but won't turn on. I'd like to help.
