Apple News App crashes, pop ups continue

Ugh. In addition to my issue with constant pop ups telling me I’ve won an amazon prize, and now Apple news crashing when I read an article and return to the home news page, I’m seriously thinking about switching to Android. Why did I pay all of this money for a phone that is just as susceptible to pop ups and glitches? With zero response from tech support or updates relevant to actual phone basic functions. And yes my iOS is up to date

anyone else experience this
