How do i mirror iPhone display to my Macbook?

How do i mirror iPhone display to my MacBook? My iPhone 6 doesnt show up in the list of available devices in quicktime player even after i connect it with a cable to my Macbook.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

See, the thing is- it doesnt show my iPhone there

Have tried to reconnect wire, restart quick time etc. but its still not there, so i was wondering if there was another method?
