Is there any accounting software with a one time subscription for MAC?

Depending on your Mac and its present OS X or macOS desktop system
you may find something by looking further afield; to see what their product
costs really are and if there may be a follow-up subscription after purchase.
This one seems to offer purchase ($249/$499) ~ also a cloud-based one too.
(An extra cost to upgrade to later version; add-ons are extra too. Plus VAT, etc)
And I've no experience with any recent software, nor this maker. I see they are
in New Zealand.. And their prices page shows me US sales are not subject to
their VAT and other local tax. (You get download versions.)

Many appear to offer subscription purchases and no actual offline software.
Others like accountedge.com/pro/ & similar say little until you enter sites.
Note several say there is no refund if bought online. That may be a big issue
when their product does not work out, or their trial version isn't what you buy.
So that is where you may find limited availability and regional differences.
Also their product listing may target certain system macOS/X build versions.
Sorry that most seem to only offer subscription purchase and not much else.
