Unable to delete Whatsapp backup in iCloud

Hello All,

I've been trying to delete the Whatsapp backup file in my iCloud, but nothing happens when I delete from the Setting - iCloud - Manage Storage - Whatsapp - Delete data. There are no error messages, just nothing happens.

Whatsapp auto backup is turned off, tried turning on&off my phone several times. I was told to do the iCloud backup again after deleting the Whatsapp app, but as the backup data is taking 2.1 GB I don't have any free storage left.

I'm using the latest iOS version. Please help!
