How do I watch local channels on Apple TV?
I am thinking about getting Apple TV but cannot see how to watch the local channels. I watch the CBS, NBC, PBS, ABC channels especia the locally produces programs.

Apple has a TV App that tries to collect many channels in one place (differs per country).
CBS, NBC, PBS, ABC, etc. may have tvOS apps that allow some or all of their content to be streamed.
Your cable provider may have an iOS app that allows AirPlay streaming to the Apple TV of certain content.
A separate box HDHomeRun allow digital-over-the-air channels onto your home network, thus also accessible to Apple TV.
