my computer recognizes my iPhone 5c running iOS 10.3.3 but itunes does not how do I fix this?

I am trying to transfer everything from an iPhone 5c running iOS 10.3.3 to an iPhone 5S but iTunes doesn't recognize the iPhone 5c. I have checked all of the drivers and I have checked the device. everything is fine why won't it work
