Unable to enter password after MAC falling into sleep

Hey!
I haven't seen if anyone has posted anything about this. But I have a problem that when my Macbook Pro fall asleep I simply cannot enter my password. It's as if the keyboard isn't responding. Once I saw I hadn't selected where you type the password, but even after selecting it I simply could not type in the password. The only solution I've found for this is simply shutting off and restarting the computer.

Does anyone have a similar issue or another solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
