iPod classic shows on for music but only as far as artist, etc.

My classic iPod shows music playlists, albums, etc. as On but trying to advance to the actual song/album sits at the on stage

iPod Classic Playlist Sync I have an iPod classic which I would like to sync certain playlists to. But I can not now. The playlists are not even listed as an option. I go into "Sync Settings" to "Manually manage music, movies, and tv shows." I then tab over to "Music" and the playlists I want to sync are not listed. Even though they are on my Apple Music and I have synced them before to this same iPod classic. I know that certain songs that are NOT purchased can not be synced to the iPod classic. But this is not the issue this time.

iPod Classic 7th Gen Shows Up & Lists in Apple Music, Wont play or edit, just option for Delete from Manage Storage I have an iPod Classic 7th Gen that shows up and lists in apple music, won't play the songs or allow edit other than delete from Manage Storage. I previously had this set up using a Windows pc, now trying to access on my iMac. Am I missing something? I'd like to be able to play the songs on my iMac with my iPod and also edit song titles, etc as you used to be able to do in iTunes. What is going on, what can I do? Thanks.

Take a look at Corrupt iPod Classic. What are your HDD stats?
