No TV image when ATV 4K connected thru Integra AVR DTV 5.9 vintage 2008. ATV works when direct connected to TV Pioneer Plasma vintage 2008. Cannot use HDMI splitter TV & AVR not near together.

Can not connect ATV 4K through Integra AVR model DTV 5.9. R there any workarounds for thus? Thanks.

Apple TV 4K not connecting to AV receiver I have been trying to connect a 4k Apple TV to a receiver and then out to a projector. I have connected via HDMI cable the Apple TV 4K to a Pioneer 1080p receiver. Then via HDMI on the receiver out to my Epson Projector. The projector receives NO signal at all from Apple TV. However, if I plug the Apple TV directly into the projector (via HDMI) it works fine. And also if I plug the Apple TV directly into a TV HDMI input it works fine. It is ONLY when I connect Apple TV to Receiver that it does not work. I have an older Apple TV generation 2, and that works fine thru the receiver. can I plug the apple tv into my Yamaha ats 1080 sound bar directly? Can I plug the apple tv into my Yamaha ats 1080 sound bar directly? The optical port on my TV is broken so am wondering if I can use the HDMI connection on my Apple TV to connect directly into the sound bar. Of course then the question is how I would connect the TV to Apple TV box? Any help is appreciated
