Forgot my restriction passcode

Thanks for your help. Should I remove the one from my 8+?

I am not a techie. So, it’s so hard to find a way even how to undo things. Doesn’t iPhone 8+ comes with an instruction/guide book? Only got this thin booklet. Nothing much to learn with regards to system settings, etc.

However, I didn’t wanna lose the settings I’ve made as I tend to be forgetful at times. Good thing I didn’t allow to delete or erase the data on each device after 10 failed attempts. Tho, data protection is still enabled.

I was able to retrieve my restriction passcode after 18 attempts each device. 😅

Thanks. I’ve synced my two iPhones 6s+ and 8+.

So, does it mean, both data in my two devices will be reset? How do I retain my settings?
