Garageband - moving track position back to start

Hi. I'm dihitising some tapes and when splitting the track into sections and exporting to iTunes, I need to pull the remainder of the track back to the beginning. In previous versions, I could pick up the track and drag it back to the beginning. In 10.2.0, I only seem to be able to drag the portion of the track which is visible on the screen. This takes ages and is a real ache. Is there any way of quickly pulling the remaining track back to the beginning of the timeline?
