Question: Can't login to iTunes Store on Apple TV
I have an Apple TV, model A1496. I'm not sure which generation that is, but I've had it for at least 5 years. It will not allow me to sign in to iTunes. I have confirmed my all of my login info. The software is fully up to date. The WiFi signal is strong. I'm signed into iCloud.
When I try to log into iTunes, I enter my email on the first screen. Then I enter my password on the next screen. At that point Two-Factor authentication kicks in. I click Allow on my laptop. (I've also tried using my iPhone for this.) I then enter the 6 digit code into the Apple TV and it immediately bounces me back to the initial login screen where I entered my email. There is no message that my password is incorrect or that anything is incorrect for that matter. It just starts all over without ever logging me in.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
