i have macular degeneration. I keep my IPad Air on night shift mode, warm all the time.
Do I still need a blue light protector shield to be safe ?

If you’ve actually been diagnosed with macular degeneration, then I would use one regardless. I would want to take all the precautions I could. However, if you wear glasses with high index polycarbonate lenses with antireflective coatings, they already block almost all of the harmful wavelengths
