Video skipping

I can’t watch or stream any videos online without it skipping back a few seconds every 15 seconds or so. I reset everything and tried different browers, nothing helps. It happened after Ios 11. Any ideas to help my iPad mini or sell it and get a Microsoft tablet?

IPadOS 15 auto pauses videos for some strange reason. Advice requested. I upgraded to iPadOS 15 and everything is smooth except for one hugely annoying and inconvenient issue: whenever I am in split screen mode (let’s say, the CNN/YouTube/ABC app in one screen and Safari in another), if I am watching a video or live stream in one of the apps and working in Safari, if a video loads in Safari then the video streaming app pauses. It does not matter what kind of video it is: a pre-loaded video ad, a background video on a web page, or a regular video. The behavior suggests that whichever screen I’m “working in” takes priority by the OS and the other screen (with the streaming video) should be paused. This is maddening (if I am streaming CNN, I don’t want an important story “paused” simply because iPadOS “thinks” I want to see some annoying pre-loading Trulicity ad.) Is anyone else finding this an issue? Is there a way to control this in Settings (I’ve looked but can’t find it, although it could be staring me n the face). Any help would be appreciated. And for those who might ask, I’m on a 12.9in 2020 iPad Pro.

Video won't auto pause When im watching a video in full screen and press the home button to exit the app i am watching the video in (for this instance safari). The video will not stop playing, audio continues and i have to either close the app or return to the app and manually pause it or leave the video just to make it stop. This never used to be an issue and i was wondering if there was a way to fix this. Or reset my phone back to ios 13.5.1 before i updated

Unfortunately,

You appear to be one of the growing minority of both iPad and iPhone users having this issue.

This is not a widespread iOS 11 issue.

Try the Aloha web browser.

Some users reported better success with that third party web browser.
