Question: add greek english dictionary

I want to add a Greek-English, English-Greek dictionary to my MacBook's dictionary app so I can easily translate words I don't know. I'm using mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3

I finally did the following steps:

  1. I Open the Dictionary app.
  2. In the File menu, I choose the "Open Dictionaries Folder"
  3. Then I simply "drag & drop" the 2 already downloaded and extracted Dictionaries files into the Dictionary Folder ( I Download the dictionaries I was interested in, from the first site you mentioned http://clasquin-johnson.co.za/michel/mac-os-x-dictionaries/index.html )

As you can see, everything is working just fine.

I am running High Sierra 10.13.3


My user Library Dictionary folder is like this : user/thomas1/Library/Dictionaries/CoreDataUbiquitySupport/thomas1~XXXX...../Use rDictionary/.... The UserDictionary folder contains 5 folders


I can't find the system /Library/Dictionaries folder


Where should I install the downloaded dictionaries in order to use them with the dictionary app

You should create a new folder /Library/Dictionaries and try putting them in there. Or if that doesn't work, try making Home/Library/Dictionaries. I can't remember which or it it matters.
