Turning of Desktop Advertisements

How do I turn off these annoying desktop advertisements that appear in the top-right corner?

I'm seeing a lot for "Advanced Mac Cleaner" and other annoying adverts.

I've gone to the System Prefs to the Notifications and can't find it anywhere?

Thank you in advanced _/\_
