iOS Album transfer Help
I have an Iphone 7 plus and I want to create an album on my iPhone and transfer it to photos on my Macbook which is running High Sierra.

Do you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on your Mac and on your iPhone? Then the album will sync automatically, because iCloud Photo Library will keep the libraries identical on your Mac and your iPhone.
Other than that, it is not possible to transfer albums using Apple's own software. You can easily download photos from the iPhone to the Mac using Photos, or Image Capture, or Preview on High Sierra, but these applications are only seeing the photos and the videos, not the albums on your iPhone.
