Iphone storage almost full. System is 50GB. I've reset, restored, wiped and within a couple of days back to same issue. Any ideas other than tinkering with photos etc. ?

Issue - iPhone storage almost full message. Approx 50 GB on 64GB 6S taken by 'system'. Action - I've wiped the phone and restored from iTunes back up and issue reappears in a few days. Conclusion - I know I am not alone. It seems to me IoS is broke.

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.6

Thought I should close this thread. I solved the issue by completely wiping phone and only reinstalling basic apps. It does look like one of my apps was downloading unwanted files. I will not point a finger but will add apps as I need them now and if I can identify the rogue will report. Suffice to say I only had authorised apps on the phone.
