How to log in to my Apple ID

I just bought a new phone and created a new Apple ID and for some reason it won’t let me download any apps on the App Store

Why won’t my App Store let me download apps without an iTunes Store account? I just created my own Apple ID for my phone and I wanted to load apps onto it but whenever I try it says that I need to login to my iTunes Store account. It says to enter my Apple ID and password but only has a password option. When I put in my password it says it’s wrong. I’m really confused. Please help
