syncing photos from computer to iPhone 7 plus

I used to be able to sync all my photos on my computer to my iPhone 6. I now have an iPhone 7 plus and nothing happens when I choose 'sync photos, selected folders' etc. Nothing. No syncing, no photos on iPhone. I have the latest versions of software on iTunes and my iPhone. My computer is authorised. The photo folders are showing, I tick each one but no photos are synced during the backup/syncing process. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

My iPhone 8 won't sync photos to my laptop So, I have an iPhone 8, I've had it for a couple of years now and I'm having trouble syncing the photos on it to my MacBook Air. I used to be able to just plug my phone into the laptop and be able to sync the photos within a couple minutes. Now however, whenever I plug in my phone to sync photos to my computer, only a small amount of the newer photos will sync, and even then sometimes I have to open the photos through my phone in order for even a few pictures to be able to sync. Usually it's also photos that I took within a couple of days and nothing older (like photos taken within the past months). I want to make sure that all of my pictures sync up before I update my phone. How do I fix this? note: I tried switching ports, and that worked for awhile, but it's not working very well anymore.

Sync 13 Pro Max iPhone with computer?? I have the iPhone 13 pro max and I can’t get my photos from my computer to sync to my new phone. This used to be so easy but it is taking hours and still won’t work. I have no idea what to do. It won’t even let me select just certain albums on my computer to sync.

Photos not syncing from new MacBook Pro to iPhone I am using all up-to-date software (iPhone 11.2.6; MacBook Pro 10.13.3 High Sierra) but photos are no longer syncing from my MacBook to my iPhone via iTunes. I am repeating a sequence that's worked in the past and is exactly as described in Apple Support -- connect phone, click on phone icon on laptop's iTunes, see the folder I want and select it, click Sync, but the photos do no longer come across to Photos on the phone. I like to keep a selected set of photos on my phone. What do I need to do to get them there? Is this a result of upgrading my iPhone recently??? Any ideas what's going on and how to fix or get around it?(Note: I am not trying to do any of this via iCloud nor do I wish to.)Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
