I hav an iphone 10, and if I wanted to replace the battery at the Apple store will the phone still be water resistant after the repair

Not asking if the warranty covers that but, if my I needed to replace something like a cracked screen, would it still be water resistant after the repair? Fixed at the Apple store and not a third party.

Reading your question again, I see that the content is different to the headlines.

Apple will not replace your battery if the phone's screen is cracked. They will insist on you having the screen repaired first.

For any kind of service that involves removing the glass and/or replacing it, Apple will use OEM adhesives to seal it and will place it on a test rig to check for the quality of the seal (to factory standards). However, Apple doesn't guarantee water resistance, although they do say it should meet IP67 water resistance when initially tested at the factory.
