I found similar issues here but they had no answers and was blocked so I re-ask this question.
On my MacBook Pro I press the Siri button and say in Swedish "Play music" she says "Ok" and nothing happens.
This does not happen all the time, usually when I have started to play the music and asked her to pause it, and want to resume from there.

This fixes the issue for a little while, Siri then takes maybe 4 voice commands and then it goes back to not being able to complete it's commands.
I am using iTunes btw.
I don't know if it will help but you could try saying "Play" after pausing rather than "Play Music". Works for me in English.
