Change Country

I recently moved to Canada from the US and tried to change my country in my Apple ID. It wouldn’t allow. After research, I found that I had to cancel my iTunes Match account. I did this, but the subscription doesn’t end until September 2018 (it is now March). one Trip to the Apple Store and two phone calls to support and Apple says they don’t have a solution and that we have to wait until September for the Match subscription to expire. Problem is, I cannot update my billing information or shop online for in store pickup or home delivery as a result.
