iTunes family approval requires password

When my son requests an app from the store, it comes to my iPhone for family approval. Every time it asks me for a sign in rather than face ID. Can you tell me what is going on please?

Now I have to enter my password every time. Is there anyway to turn on Face ID for this so I don’t have to type in my password every time?

Family sharing approval always password issue Ever since getting The iPhone X I am having to input my apple id password when approving a purchase on family sharing. On my old iPhone 7 I just had to do the thumbprint so would hope that the face recognition would work in the same way on the X. I have looked through some forums and it has been suggested that I remove my iCloud details then sign back in. I have done this and it’s still the same. It’s rather frustratin. Can anybody help?

App Store Face ID When I open the App Store to download an app I get asked for my Apple ID password. When I put my password in it then asks me to turn on Assistive touch all the time and I don’t know if there is a way to stop this from happening i recently bought my IPhone X and it’s updated to the latest IOS if anyone can help I greatly appreciate it ☺️
