WD My Passport external hardrive has become Read Only - Help

Hello,

I have connected WD My Passport hard drive to my mac book and it's not allowing me to write anything.

I clicked Get Info and it does show Read/Write permission for my id but still not allowing to write.

I clicked unlock->enter password. still its not allowing to change the permission for other users and also not alowing to add new owners.

Please help.
