Apple TV 4th gen ethernet speed drop

When I first set up this Apple TV, I was getting around 80Mbps or more over ethernet. Wireless was faster, but I reserve my wireless for mobile and IoT devices only. At any rate, I recently noticed occasional buffering when streaming over LAN. I did a quick Ookla speedtest and noticed around 25 mbps. I then tested many other devices and all either maxed out my internet speed (100+ mbps) or LAN speed (1 gbps) when testing each speed, respectively. Then I checked the cable/keystone and verified that all pairs were secure. They also all passed via a tester. I then plugged in different devices to the same cable and port and had zero issues, so it is certainly local to the Apple TV itself. Anyone else experience an issue like this or have you been able to fix? The only thing I have not done is wipe the entire device, which I’d like to avoid if possible.

It won’t be worthwhile, as the closest Apple Store is 6+ hours away and Apple Care is expired. It would cost me less to buy a newer 4k gigabit model before I go that route, unfortunately. I may even get a USB-C cable and reinstall tvOS if I don’t find any info out there. At least I could hopefully rule out software. Failing that, I’ll buy a new 4k one and relegate this one to a guest bedroom that is only occasionally used.
