Is this an E-mail scam?

User uploaded file

So today, I got an email from Apple regarding about suspicious activity on my account and if do not verify my information my account will be locked permanently. I ended up clicking on the link which took my a site that looked like an actually apple site. It told me login which I did then I clicked on "verify account" or "unlock account" then it took me a page where I had to put my personal information in such as name, address, then it asked for my SSN. I tried to see if I could continue without putting my SSN, but it would not let me. So clicked X. I just thought it was odd how it asked for my SSN.
