My brand new iPad Pro randomly stops charging

I’m using the cable and plug that came with the iPad. I’ll plug it in, in the evening, it indicates that it is charging but the next morning I go to use the iPad and it will not have charged and no longer shows charging even though it is still plugged in. An aside, the Logi keypad with the smart connection also stops working on a random basis. For both problems, if I unplug and then plug back in they will start charging/working for a period until it all happens again.

I don’t think taking this to the Genius Bar would get me anywhere. You plug it in and it shows that it is charging — until it is not. They would need to live with it, like I do. So frustrating.

I have been having this same issue. I made an appointment with the Genius Bar and they said they had never seen this issue. They recreated it happening and replaced the iPad with a brand new replacement. It worked for a week and now this one is doing the exact same thing. I have used the original cable and charging post, an iPhone cable and base, I bought all new 3rd party chargers (Anker) and it does it with all of them. I even thought it might be my surge protector but plugging it into the wall doesn’t help.

It is currently doing it, I have plugged it in three times while typing this and it isn’t working.

I have no anwers because my Genius Bar didn’t know anything.
