Apple ID issue

I changed my Apple ID. I'm no longer able to update apps as the old Apple ID is still hanging out there, and not accessible. How do I get rid of the old Apple ID altogether?

Hi Charlie,

Did you create a new Apple ID? In that case, your apps and purchases are not transferable. You can either delete apps and re-download them with your new Apple ID, or you can use family sharing with your old Apple ID.

Did you CHANGE your Apple ID username (your email address)? Then it's just a "bug". Sign completly out of all devices you are signed into, and then sign back in again. If apps are still asking for your old Apple ID username, enter your new password. If not, delete the app and re-download. However all purchases should be kept.
