imovie clips deleted

I was working on a school project with some of my friends, making a short film of "The Great Gatsby." I edited it on iMovie (and it was 11 minutes). When it came time for me to download it, it wouldn't let me save it to my camera roll or send it to anyone. A friend told me to delete the separate clips from my camera roll, and if anything would happen, they would go into my recently deleted file. When I tried opening up my movie, it said missing files. Is there anyway I can retrieve these files if they didn't go to my recently deleted file or my iCloud.

Recover video from iMovie Theater "deleted everywhere"? I stupidly hit the "delete everywhere" button on one of my old iMovie Theater videos. (The original project and event files are long gone; the file I deleted from the theater was fully edited.) The video was only on the cloud, it wasn't downloaded to my iPhone. I checked my trash folders, "Recently Deleted" in iCloud and in Photos, and the "Restore Files" button in iCloud advanced settings, but nada. I was warned that "this cannot be undone", so I think I'm out of luck lol. But figured I'd ask. Note to self—transfer my iMovie Theater vids to iCloud Photos!

iMovie/videos on iCloud My 11 year old iMac has been smashed on the floor and I am seeking to retrieve videos created in iMovie. No, I'm not running Time Machine. Some of them kan be retrieved on my iPhone, but they don't appear on my MacBook Air. I assume my videos are in iCloud, and I have a subscription which covers 50 Gb.

Missing Camera files in iMovie unless SD card is in slot Hello. I imported movie files from my SD card into a new event in iMovie (and also copied the files over to an external hard drive.) When I remove the SD card from the reader slot, the files show up as "missing camera" in the iMovie event. They have a small video camera icon on the thumbnails in the Event as well, so that's different from usual. Is there anyway I can fix this? I tried to re-import them, but nothing happens. I thought about deleting the event and re-importing, but I don't want to delete the event in case I lose the footage altogether. (even although it is allegedly on my SD card and in my hard drive back up.) Thanks for any help!
