Update spam

I am so fed up with the update spam on my iphone. I do not want to update my phone as Apple deliberately slows iphones down. But everyday i get a pop up asking me to update, which the only options o can sepect is either update now or update later. Most of my friends have been talking about how annoying this is. I think i am going to switch to android. This is disgraceful
